Where do I enter my licence
Hi,
Haven't used ipassword for years so I asked fo an new license number one was sent for and you sent me an e-mail with my password. I am on a mac. When I went to add my license key, a window opened up and was asking me to select a new file. I was sent an e-mail from you in my gmail account, I have no idea how to open that file with my license key that you sent me, what am i doing wrong?

If you've not used 1PW for years, you may have been on 1PW3, which used a license key. 1PW5 (and 1PW4) uses a license file. 1PW5 (Yosemite only) is a free upgrade from 1PW4, but 1PW4 was a paid upgrade from 1PW3. So it depends on which version of 1PW you now want to use, and whether you have paid for it.

There seems to be a problem with gmail accounts showing a licence key, or link to it, when what you need is a link to a licence file. See this post from AgileBits.
I'll ping @littlebobbytables (hope he doesn't mind at the weekend!) to see if he can help you because I don't have access to the relevant records to do so.

I've checked our records and we only have a single record against the email address you use at these forums. That record was for a copy of 1Password 2. Unfortunately 1Password 4/5 is a paid upgrade so your licence key won't work if you're hoping to run a more current version of our software. Now they key is still valid for 1Password 2 but I'd have to ask around as I see our download page doesn't link to a downloadable copy.
Your key does mean though that you're eligible for a discount should you wish to upgrade your licence. All you would do is use the upgrade licence button and enter your key there to gain a discount.
