different safes

hello
so far I had a vault for all family members.

Now I've created a separate vault for each member and the passwords assigned from the primary vault.

On my Mac, all passwords are now mapped correctly.

But when I look at my IPhone or IPad I continue to see all the passwords in the primary vault. The safe is synced. I can also call the vaults of the members. There are in it only the passwords of each member.

But in my primary Safe continue to ALL passwords.

What am I doing wrong?

What sync method are you using?

    Hi @Hantoball,

To make sure I understand: It sounds like you've set up multiple vaults in 1Password on your Mac. On your iOS devices, are you saying your Primary vault is showing all the items from all the secondary vaults? But those items are also correctly shown in each secondary vault?

If so, were all those items originally in your Primary vault, and you recently moved those items to different secondary vaults?

If the secondary vaults are syncing correctly, but your Primary vault still shows all items on your iPhone and iPad, please make sure the sync is set up properly for the Primary vault:

    • On your Mac, open 1Password to your Primary vault, then go to Preferences > Sync, and make sure Dropbox sync is enabled (take note of the file path for the .agilekeychain file).
    • On each iOS device, open 1Password and go to Settings > Vaults, tap the 'i' icon next to Primary, and make sure Dropbox is set as the sync service (if so, tap Sync Service and verify the file path under Dropbox is the same as on your Mac).

Is Dropbox sync enabled for the Primary vault on your Mac and iOS devices? If so, is the keychain file path the same on each?

    Hi Drew
I had first created all passwords in a primary safe. I use 1Password for years.
Where to now gives the possibility to create various safes I have done this. For my whole family and the passwords have shifted accordingly.
I have checked the path again. My primary uses safe on iOS and Mac the same path. Nevertheless, the shifted passwords also remain visible on my iOS devices in the primary safe.

    Hi @Hantoball‌

Nevertheless, the shifted passwords also remain visible on my iOS devices in the primary safe.

When you added the passwords to your family members' vaults, which method did you use? There is an Item > Share menu that has two options: copy or move.

If you chose to copy the passwords from your primary vault to your family members' vaults, they will appear in both places. It is important to note though that (due to the way that your database is encrypted) these items will not stay in sync between vaults. If your family member changes an item in their vault, it will not change in your primary vault. Generally it's best if items live in just one vault.
