1password doesn't work since the upgrade to Yosemite

the browser plugin still works fine but naturally has limited functionality. when trying to use the app itself - it says "1Password" is damaged and can't be opened. Delete "1Password" and download it again from the app store". this is an issue since i have hundreds of passwords stored on it and have limited desire to loose them all. despite several attempts to get support from Agilebits, so far radio silence from the experts. disappointing customer care. anyone has an idea what to do?

Please do what the message advises: delete the app by dragging it to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool because if you do you may lose all your data), reboot, re-download and re-install. You will not remove your 1P data by simply deleting the app like that.

Oh, and you will always get fastest support—even from AgileBits—by posting on this forum. :)

    Hi @Danol,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been waiting for support! As @Stephen_C says, posting here in the forums is the quickest way to get access to our team these days.

His suggestion of reinstalling the app is right on the mark too. Please give it a try ... if you're still having trouble after installing a fresh copy, please let us know and we'll investigate further. :)
