1password changing date of birth

I'm trying out 1password and setting it up on my iPhone and iPad. When I created Identities for my family 1password changed the date of birth. It consistently reduced the day in the month by 1 when I saved the changes. I solved it by adding 1 to the day, but there must be something funny going on.
