Share Login via Email/Messages as clear Text
Hi guys,
I was wondering if there is a similar functionality in the Mac version as it exists in the iOS version. I want to share the login via email as clear text. The only option I've found to share a login in Mac version is to send an encrypted link via email, that the recipient can import in 1Password.
Maybe I didn't find that feature?
Kind regards

I'm not sure I've understood correctly what you want to do (perhaps because I can't imagine a circumstance where I'd want to share a login as plain text). I'm also not sure what you want the recipient to be able to do with the information however I suppose you could always print the login to pdf and email the pdf.

But what I don't understand is why you would want to send an un-encrypted version.

Exactly as kavaa described I want to share some logins via email with my colleagues. Unfortunately my colleagues doesn't use 1Password.
The iOS version has that feature and I've to send the login on my iPhone. We're using Office 365 mailboxes and at least emails that doesn't leave the Exchange are encrypted.
If I follow your argumentation, then I don't understand why the iOS version has such a feature.

Hi guys,
In the details view and under the item's title, there is the share button that lets you share your item in clear view:
Keep in mind such sharing is not encrypted. You can find out more here: https://blog.agilebits.com/2013/05/14/understanding-sharing/
The same thing can be used to copy or move your items to a secondary vault that you can sync with your team or family, which is encrypted and the best way to share information:
