Drag and drop is not working.

Prior to Yosemite, I could drag and drop mail messages from Mail to the attachment area in 1Password. Thus, I could always have a backup of mail messages which contained order number, keys, etc.
Following the upgrade to Yosemite, I have lost this capability - has anyone else found this problem? If so, any suggestions for a fix will be greatly appreciated. I feel it could be a permissions issue, but cannot identify the appropriate file to check.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

    This is a known Yosemite problem (for which read "bug"). The work around is to drag and drop the email first on your Desktop and then into 1P.
