1Password 3 doesn't work in Safari on Yosemite [Remove 1P4 extension and install 1P3 extension]
I have updated my mac to Yosemite 10.10.1 and have 1 password 3.8.22 - which it tells me does not require updating. I have downloaded and installed the extensions and set them for 1PW. The 1PW icon is in the safari bar as it should be but when I click on it it races off to try to find extensions. It tells me that it cannot open the specified address and does not recognise the address. It asks me to specify an application to open the URL. I think I have attached a screenshot.
Basically I cannot use 1P at all. Any advice?

Looks like you attempted to install the 1Password 4 safari extension not the version 3 extension. If you wish to try install the version 3 extensions then please see this page https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html
AgileBits has made no dedication to make 1Password 3 work on Yosemite. A user has reported success but no further details https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/27434/1password-3-and-yosemite
It may be time possibly consider upgrading to 1Password 5, your decision. Upgrade pricing is available if your so inclined by visiting the Upgrade store

Thightower is correct in that you've installed the later version of 1Password extension that is not compatible with 1Password 3.
If you want to keep using 1Password 3 for Mac on Yosemite, please remove the 1Password 4 extension from Safari, and then install the correct browser extension by opening the main 1Password 3 app and go to the 1Password Menu > Install Browser Extensions. It will take you to the right extension page, which is this: https://agilebits.com/extensions/mac/index.html
