Firstly, I saw that there was a discount but is stopped now?

Would like to consider the licence for Mac & Windows.
I'm using Mac personally, using Windows in office and my wife using Windows too.
Would the combo licence be sufficient?

The trial version after updated to Ver.5, I'm unable to edit.
Is this normal?

    Yes, the 1Password Mac + Windows Bundle will be sufficient for your personal Mac, your office Windows PC and your wife's Windows PC.

    The trial version after updated to Ver.5, I'm unable to edit. Is this normal?

    Yes, when the trial expires you can no longer edit or create items in 1Password, you need to apply the license first.

    Just to clarify, if I'm purchasing a license for myself to use on a Mac and a Windows VM on the same Mac I only need to buy a single Mac + Windows Bundle license?

    That's correct. A single user Mac + Windows bundle will allow you to use 1Password on any Mac or Windows computers you own.
