Syncing to the cloud
Hello guys/gals. First off, great product. I have downloaded and entered a few passwords to test things out and like what i see. I have a concern though, how safe are my passwords once I back them up to a cloud service (either Dropbox or iCloud)? If my iCloud or DB account gets compromised, can they access my password list from that backup or is it protected in any way? Also, if my passwords are synced over multiple devices, including my home computer, can a keylogger still copy a password entered via 1PW since it wasnt actually "keyed" into the computer?
Thanks!

Your passwords, wherever they are, are protected by your master password. If anyone did succeed in hacking your cloud service and obtaining your 1P data they could do nothing with it unless they could also hack your master password. That's why choosing a strong master password (recommended reading there!) is so important.
There's also an excellent AgileBits blog post about keyloggers here.

Hi @bobbie_brown,
In addition to @Stephen_C's excellent answer, I wanted to let you know you can find more information about the security of your 1Password data in the cloud here:
Is it safe to sync my data over the cloud?
I hope that's helpful! :)

Excellent information. I feel much more comfortable now using a cloud backup option. Thanks!
