[Order details removed]
Happily upgrading to the current model for these past 7 years.
Did not get the notice about a paid upgrade until the Trial Expired notice on this version
which has apparently expired.
Tried the email address I used to order the original to upgrade. Not recognized by Agile.
Tried my current email address which you folks use to send me promotional material. Also
unrecognized by Agile.
I understand about paying for upgrades. No problem. I will go to the Apple App Store and
download the current version. However comma a question, a concern.....
The question is this: Will I lose all the Password, credit card and other information contained
in the version I am now using which as indicated above is: Version 5.0.2?
Please tell me I will not lose anything. Please tell me that my data will be assimilated as easily
as a Borg takeover.
And oh, other than this discussion board, I have found no way to reach you with this question.
That’s a lot frustrating and a little concerning.
Thanks,
PasPrius

Hi @PasPrius, welcome to the forums! :)
I removed the order details from your message, but I was able to find your license information in our system before I did that. Assuming I found the right license info, it looks like you have licenses for 1Password 2 and 1Password 3 for Mac.
1Password 4 for Mac was a paid upgrade from previous versions, and 1Password 5 for Mac is a free upgrade for those who had a license for version 4. There was a small bug in 1Password 4 for Mac where, in certain cases, an unregistered/trial copy would not expire. That was fixed in version 5, so that could explain why you started to see the Trial Expired notice recently. Sorry for any confusion!
Don't worry - if you buy the Mac App Store version of 1Password 5, you won't lose your data! We have a guide to help switch from the web store version to the Mac App Store version, and you can find that here: Migrating to the Mac App Store version This process should be even easier (and much less painful) than a Borg takeover. ;)
Alternately, you can purchase the upgrade to our web store version of 1Password 5. You can get an upgrade discount that way, but the web store version doesn't have the iCloud sync feature. To upgrade through our web store, you'll need to enter your license code here: https://agilebits.com/store/upgrade
If you don't have your license code, please send me a private message. We may have an old email address for you in our license records, but if you think you know what that email address is, include it in the private message so I can verify I found the right one. Thanks!

Drew,
Thanks for your help. I could not navigate the PM process so will just go to the App Store and download the latest version to replace my latest version. No Borgs involved.
The email I used for the original order is still active but your system does not recognize it from 2007. Ah,well.
2008. Thanks Again.0 -
