Accidentally Deleted App
Unfortunately, I had my finger held down on my IPOD Touch screen and when it asked me if I wanted to delete 1Password Pro, I hit Cancel and deleted it anyway. Is there a way to reload the app with all of my information that was kept on the app? Unfortunately my IPOD was backed up when I plugged it into my laptop with the app already gone and I don't use ICLOUD. Will just reloading the app from ITUNES save all of my info or am I starting over??
Thanks!!

Hi Chris ( @Chris Harsy )
I'd like to get a little more information about your situation. Can you please tell me:
- What devices you have 1Password installed on
- What version of 1Password you have on each of those devices
- What sync method, if any, you were using prior to this issue
- If any of your other devices currently have your data on them

- Ipod Touch 5th gen
- IPassword 4 - Which had everything on it
- I Do have IPASSWORD 5 now but actually like 4 better - 4 is pro
- I sync with my laptop but manually, however i do automatically back up my ipod touch everytime i plug it in so the most recent back up was after the app was deleted
- only this device

Upgraded To 5 after 4 deleted, tried doing it on device, not through Itunes, pro features not available downloading and installing either way

Hi @Chris Harsy
I'm so sorry for the trouble that you're having here.
Unfortunately, if your data was only stored in the app, the data would have been deleted when you deleted the app. You mention having iTunes backups though, so we might be able to get your data back. Is your laptop a Mac or a PC? If you have access to a Mac, here's what we can try:
- Follow the instructions here to find your 1Password backups
- Install a trial version of 1Password 5 for Mac. You can get a copy from our downloads page
- Open 1Password on your laptop, but do not set it up
- Use ⌘⌃Q ( Command-Control-Q ) to quit both 1Password and the 'mini'
- Copy the Library -> Data -> OnePassword.sqlite file from your desktop into this location:
~/Library/Application Support/1Password\ 4/Data/OnePassword.sqlite
- Open 1Password
- You should be prompted for your Master Password - unlock to view your database
- Use Wi-Fi sync to sync your data onto your iOS device.
I Do have IPASSWORD 5 now but actually like 4 better - 4 is pro
Unfortunately, 1Password 5 was released as an update to 1Password 4, not as a separate app, so it is no longer possible to use 1Password 4. It is, however a free update for all 1Password 4 for iOS users - when you say that 4 is 'pro', do you mean that you have been unable to unlock the 'Pro' features in 1Password 5 for iOS?

I have a pc, not a mac. 1Password 5 won't let me access the "pro" features, correct. I actually am able to use 1Password 4 and "unpro" 5 at the same time.

Hi @Chris Harsy
Unfortunately the steps from @Megan won't work for the Windows version of 1Password. Do you happen to have an iTunes backup of your device from before you deleted 1Password? I thought iTunes used to save multiple backup files for a single device, but that may have changed. If you have multiple backups in iTunes, you can try restoring the entire device from an older backup. But if iTunes only has one backup file for your device, and it is from after 1Password was deleted, then unfortunately it sounds like your 1Password data is gone - unless you ever used the iCloud or Dropbox sync option in 1Password before you deleted it?
I actually am able to use 1Password 4 and "unpro" 5 at the same time.
Do you mean you have both versions 4 and 5 (i.e. two separate apps) installed on your device at the same time? If so, I'm not quite sure how that's possible. If you have two 1Password apps installed at the same time, can you please take a look at this image to verify exactly which versions are installed? Thanks!
