iCloud will not Sync

I purchased from the website and I see NOW that the iCloud downloaded from the web will not work and I must download from the mac app store. How do I make this work without double paying for it.

    If you bought within the past 30 days from AgileBits the company will refund your money so that you can buy from the Mac App Store. Probably the quickest way to get help initially is to rely on your post here and someone, like @littlebobbytables‌ from AgileBits, will be along to help with detailed instructions for you.

    I checked the email address you registered here with but couldn't find a record. Can I confirm that you did indeed purchase directly from us via our store at https://agilebits.com/store

    If that is indeed where you purchased it and it was within the last 30 days then what I recommend doing is emailing us at support+licenses@agilebits.com and doing so from the email address you purchased with.

    In the email if you could request a refund (feel free to cite the need of iCloud support if you want) and include the relevant information such as the order number in the email you should still have.

    Once you've done that if you post back here with your ticket ID we can match the two up and somebody will get back to you.

    I purchased from the Apple app store specifically because it said that I have to do this to use the iCloud keychain - which I assumed meant that I would be able to go both ways (getting all my keychain info into 1password). This is neither easy nor really possible for me. So I need a refund for the App store version for my OS X and for the iOS8 version. What do I do?

    Hi @glennmcgee,

    Sorry for any confusion! The Mac App Store version of 1Password supports iCloud sync (i.e. you can sync your 1Password data between your Mac and iOS 8 device via iCloud). iCloud Keychain is Apple's own password management/sync solution, which is separate from 1Password.

    If you need a refund for your App Store purchase, you'll need to click the Report a Problem link on the email receipt you received from Apple, and request the refund from them.
