Cannot switch from iCloud back to dropbox on iPhone

When choosing a sync method, I select "Sync with Dropbox" which brings up my Dropbox account to select. When account is selected the screen asks "Choose A Vault". When I select "1Password/1Password.agilekeychain", which I believe is my Dropbox folder, the message "Vault Exists" "This vault already exists on your iPhone." Only option is to press "Got It" which kick me back to "Choose A Vault". Trying to sync 2 ios devices running 1Password 5.1.2 with Windows machine running 1Password for Windows 4.1.0.530.

Sorry for the troubles you are having. Are you trying to sync by selecting Settings > Sync > Sync Service > Sync with Dropbox ?

    Hi @HRM3,

I'm not sure why that's happening. I think it will help to know a few more details, can you please let us know the following:

    • Does the same problem happen on both of your iOS devices?
    • When asked to choose a vault, do you see just one vault (1Password/1Password.agilekeychain) or are there others listed there?
    • When asked to choose a vault, is the vault name gray, or blue?
    • When you go to Settings > Sync > Start Syncing, do you see other options there, or only the Dropbox option?
    • Do you have any data saved in 1Password on either iOS device?
    • Is all your 1Password data currently on Windows? If not, where do you have your most up to date 1Password data?

    Thanks! :)

    Hi @HRM3,

Thanks for the information! I'd like you to try the steps below to see if it solves the problem. But first, make sure you have all your 1Password data synced/backed up somewhere other than your iPhone. If your 1Password data is up to date in Dropbox, your iPad, or Windows, that's fine. You can also save a backup to your computer by following these steps. When you're ready, try this:

    • On your iPhone, open 1Password and go to Settings.
    • Scroll down and go to Advanced.
    • Scroll down and tap Erase Data and Settings, then confirm you want to do that.
    • When you see the message confirming the data is deleted, tap Quit.
    • Restart your iPhone (hold down the power button for a few seconds and "slide to power off", then turn it back on again).

    • Reopen 1Password and choose Sync existing vault.

    • Choose Sync with Dropbox and follow any additional steps to complete the setup.

Do you have the same problem, or does it work this time? Let us know how it goes, thanks!
