Sync screen counts up the seconds since last sync done

I am syncing 1Password with dropbox on my iPad. The sync function would not work so I disconnected from dropbox and set up the sync again. It worked this time, however The sync screen shows the time since it was last synced, and it counts up continuously. I don't remember doing this before, when you went to the sync screen it would just list the time since last sync and the number would not change. As it is counting the seconds, the window that shows the time since last sync is "pulsating" at 1 beat per second. Is this normal? I'm afraid it is taking up CPU capacity. Thank you!

Hi @drrich, welcome to the forums! :)

It's normal to see a counter for the number of seconds since the last sync with Dropbox. When the 1Password app is open, that should happen about every 30 seconds or so, since we need to check to see if 1Password data has been updated. When you leave the 1Password app, it will continue to check for a few minutes, then will be stopped by iOS (which limits how long background sync can occur).

Hopefully that helps to explain what's happening. If you need anything else, we're here for you!
