iPhone 6 plus crashes...
1Password on occasion crashes my phone, and other times after it's closed disables the ability for me to search for other apps on my phone . It also does not load correctly and takes time for the entire keyboard to fill the screen so I can type my password. Any ideas? thank you.

Hi there
Could you please let me know:
- What version of 1Password you are running on your iPhone 6 Plus
- Which iOS version you are running
- Is the iPhone jailbroken
Thanks!

The phone is not jailbroken.
I'm running the latest install from the iTune store. I can't give you an exact version as I deleted the app last night until I found a fix as my phone crashed again last night accessing the 1Password.
iOS 8.1.1
My user name is my emai in the forumsl. Can you change it for me to mlkma1 as I can't. That portion is grayed out. Thank you.0 -
Also I use the zoomed mode. I read somewhere that might be an issue.

Thanks, @mlkma1. I've changed your username for you as requested.
There is definitely a bug in iOS. An app should never be able to crash the whole phone. The fact that this is happening points to a definite bug in the OS. That is not to say that there might not also be a bug in 1Password that is contributing to the issue.
We have heard that zoomed mode can cause issues with 1Password. For now, our recommendation would be to turn that off.
Thanks!

Are you indicating that my phone has a potential problem? If that's the case what is your suggestion?

Hi @mlkma1,
This is an issue our developers are aware of and trying to fix. It happens when the zoom mode is set to Zoomed on the iPhone 6 Plus, so the workaround (for now) is to turn off Zoomed mode from Settings.app > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom. Once you turn that off, 1Password should work correctly.
I'm very sorry for the inconvenience! Hopefully we'll be able to fix this soon.

Not your phone specifically, but all phones running iOS (the problem is with iOS, not the phone itself).
Glad to hear for now turning off zoomed mode has helped.

I am using an iPhone 6 Plus in Zoomed mode also and I would say that at least 33 to 50% of the time I try and access 1Password the entire phone restarts. This has never happened to me while using an iPhone 3 or 4 with any IOS version. Very frustrating. I certainly hope this gets fixed fast. I have been touting the benefits of 1Password to many people and I would hate for this to be the perception - especially when this is one of the most expensive password managers out there.
thanks for making a great product - please keep up the good work.

Hi @emlitu
Thanks for the kind words about 1Password! I'm sorry that this bug has been frustrating you. Our developers have been in contact with Apple in an attempt to track this bug down. If you're willing, we could use your help!
When an app quits unexpectedly, your device will save a log detailing the events leading up to the crash. If you have a computer with iTunes, you can collect these logs and send them in. Here's what to do after the crash:
- Sync device via iTunes
- Find the 'Crash Reporter'
On OS X:
/Users/[Your_User_Name]/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice/[Your_Device_Name]
On Windows 8, 7, and Vista:
C:\Users[Your_User_Name]\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\Logs\CrashReporter\MobileDevice[Your_Device_Name]\
Note:The AppData folder in Windows 8 is hidden by default. Click on the View menu item in a Windows navigation window and check the "Hidden items" checkbox and the AppData folder will appear in the list of folders under C:\Users[Device_Name].
Important: Replace "[Your_Device_Name]" or "[Your_User_Name]" in the file paths above with the actual device name for the iOS device, or the actual user name you use on your computer.
Please send any crash logs they find there in to us at support+forums@agilebits.com. Include your forum username and a link to this thread so we know what's up.
