Trial Expired for a long time user who upgraded

Have been using 1Password since 2009 and upgraded along the way. So why the "Trial Expired" notification now? When the license is resent, there is no attached file. Is there a problem with sending the correct file/license version?

Got to admit, I have a love-hate relationship with your program.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi @R sprague

Have you ever purchased 1Password from Apple's Mac App Store or a licence from us on another email address the one you're using here at the forums?

I ask as I'm seeing a single licence for 1Password 3 recorded against your email address. Now 1Password 4 was a paid upgrade from 1Password 3 so your licence for 1Password 3 wouldn't be enough to run 1Password 4 or 5.

We do have an announcement, Trial Expired notice in 1Password 5 for Mac? regarding the different causes for this message.

If you haven't purchased a 1Password 4 licence in the past then you may need to do so. If this is the case you have to decide how important iCloud support is to you. From 1Password 5 iCloud support is now limited to the Apple MAS version. If iCloud support isn't a deal breaker you could use your old 1Password 3 licence key to obtain a discounted upgrade price in our web store (something we can't do with the Apple MAS).

If you have any further questions post back here and we'll do our best to help
