Do I pay for upgrades? Every time I try to upgrade it fails. What should I do?

How do I upgrade to the 5-the latest version. Do I have to buy another version? My attempts to upgrade after I hit upgrade, fails.

To upgrade from 1Password 3 to the latest and greatest version 5, you'll need to head on over to our upgrade page and enter your current license information. This will let you know the discount you are entitled to for a shiny new 1Password 5 license. The license email you receive after purchasing will give you details on how to apply this license to 1Password.
Please note that 1Password 5 does require OS X 10.10 (Yosemite).
If you're already on Yosemite, you can download 1Password from our downloads page. When you open 1Password for the first time, it should detect your existing datafile in 1Password and prompt you for your Master Password. Our User Guide can walk you through the whole process.
