view password

When I try to view the password, (if I have to use it on my phone or something) I hit the edit button and it flashes the password and then swaps that for a generated password. How can I stop this so I can actually see the current password and write it down.

    Hi @wasted1,

    You can press and hold the Option key to temporarily view a concealed password (and other concealed fields), even without entering Edit mode on the item. And selecting View > Conceal Passwords will toggle the Display: Conceal Passwords option under the Security Preferences. I hope that helps. :)
