Not sure if Safari extensions are installed properly.

Hey gang:
I am using 1Password 5.0.2 on the latest Safari 8 and Yosemite 10.10.1. When I check my extensions it says the ones for 1Password 4.2.5 are installed. I also do not see the "key" icon on my toolbar as described in the tutorials. In other words, I am not sure if my extensions are installed properly. Since a few of my created logins do not open automatically, I thought that might be part of the problem. Should the extension (4.2.5) match the 1Password version I have and/or should I have a "key" icon like some of your tutorials show?

  • Hi @Merckx‌

1Password 4.2.5 is currently the latest version of the 1Password extension.

The icon is no longer a key, but is now a key hole:

    You should see that.

    Thanks!

    You're welcome, @Merckx, on behalf of @bwoodruff.

Now that you've confirmed the extension is properly installed, this guide has information to help with using it:

    Using a saved Login

And you'll see its keyhole icon in a couple images there, too. :)
