Trouble with multiple vaults in Pro

I am sorry to say vaults must be created in the Mac app and I believe Windows (I don't use Windows). The staff has said that the documentation has been updated to better clarify this.

Hi @dlynn
Sorry about the misunderstanding/miscommunication. If you want to create a vault and know you only want to do this as a one-off you could use the 30 day trial of 1Password for Mac or Windows to create your secondary vault, sync it to Dropbox and then attach this new vault on your iOS device. That would work and you can remove the desktop version of 1Password afterwards.
Could that be a suitable workaround for your situation?

I had the same question as dlynn regarding multiple vaults and have to say that it is very misleading that within the iOS app it displays one of the Pro Features as "Multiple Vaults." I have no need for the desktop version but really liked the iOS version. Looks like it's back to oneSafe for me. More money down the drain buying apps that don't do what they say they do.

Hi @tikihead,
I'm sorry for the confusion. I will mention to our developers that this should be made clear.
Like mentioned above, there is a simple workaround for now:
If you want to create a vault and know you only want to do this as a one-off you could use the 30 day trial of 1Password for Mac or Windows to create your secondary vault, sync it to Dropbox and then attach this new vault on your iOS device. That would work and you can remove the desktop version of 1Password afterwards.
There is no need to purchase the desktop version, or keep it on your computer after you sync the secondary vault to iOS.
Please let us know if you have any other questions. We're always happy to help!
