Hi guys,

I'm thinking to make a change to switch to 1Password App, however, I'm currently using Wallet App.

Is there a way to import all my data to 1Password?

I suspect there may be a way but it may depend on the formats in which Wallet can export your data. @MrC‌ is the data import expert on this forum. If you wait a while he'll be along with some help for you, I'm sure.

    Hi Folks,

@Stephen_C has suggested the info necessary to help you out, and I'll clarify what's needed:

    • which exact password manager and version are you using (perhaps its Acrylic's app simply called Wallet)?
    • does that app support exporting the data into an unencrypted format (like CSV or some other which you can examine and read with, say, a text editor)?
    • which version of OS X are you using?

    Hello,

I have a similar question, but I'm going from pwsafe to 1Password. Here are the answers to the questions you posed above:

    • Version: pwsafe version 3.1.0 (mac) and 6.4.1 (iOS)
    • App exports data in .txt format
    • OSX version: 10.10.1

    Thanks!

    Hi @gminer,

will be of some use to you. If you import your text file into a spreadsheet program such as Numbers (you may want to rename it with a .csv suffix), then you can place the data in the required CSV columns for login items, and import that CSV into 1Password. See:
