Save new login for existing site does not update web form details

On Windows, if you save new login when checking something like "remember me" it will update the login info in 1Password with the additional web form fields. On Mac, this isn't true. You have to save a new login and delete the old one.

Since I imported all my stuff from CSV file I don't have "remember me" checked for most sites, and I'm updating them now using the Save new Login as mentioned in this thread by @svondutch

Is this a bug in the mac version?

BTW I tried this with:

  • Evernote
  • Facebook

In both cases the "new site" had the correct remember me checkbox. But the existing site was not updated with the new form details.

    Hi @Omar Shahine

Check out this post I've just made elsewhere, this should be everything you need to guide you through updating an entry rather than being forced to create a new one and delete the old.

Let us know if that helps

@Omar Shahine‌ I'm sorry about that. When I posted I genuinely believed this worked but I've confirmed this isn't the case :disappointed:. Unfortunately this does mean you're currently doing this the only way you can, create a new Login, copy across any extra data and delete the old one. I shall bring this to the attention of our developers.
