iCloud blocks iCould sync

After upgrading to Yosemite my main pwd did not work anymore. So I set up a new vault. When I chose to sync via iCloud, iCloud says there is old 1Pwd data and if it should be merged? In other to do that I have to use the Pwd for the old data - which does not work. Now I cannot sync my new vault via iCloud. How do I get the old vault data out of iCloud?

Can you please tell us what version of 1P you are using and whether you bought it from the Mac App Store or direct from AgileBits? What version of 1P are you using on your iDevice?

    Hi @Hendrik Ehlers

As Stephen_C suggests, in order to get this sorted out, I'll need to know a little bit more about your 1Password ecosystem:

    • What are the version numbers of 1Password and your operating system for all computers and devices running 1Password?
    • Do you have access to a full copy of your data on one of these devices?
    • Did you select the option to upgrade to iCloud Drive when you upgraded to Yosemite?

The more detail you can provide, the more quickly we'll be able to get you sorted out! :)

Main main machine is a MacPro, then I have a MacBook Air, an iPad Air and an iPhone5s. I run Yosemite and latest OS X on all devices. The Version is 5.0.2 (502006) Mac App Store. I am using iCloud Drive on my MacPro, I guess that works for my Macbook, too. After upgrading to Yosemite, my master pwd for 1pwd did not work anymore. Quite unique as I know exactly what it is. So I made a new vault. My iPhone works via WiLan to my MacPro. I would prefer if you could communicate to me via [edit: email deleted]

I have deleted your email address. This is a public forum and if you post that sort of thing here it is likely to be harvested by spammers.

If you can answer @Megan's second question:

Do you have access to a full copy of your data on one of these devices?

I'm sure someone will be able to help you further.

    Hi @Hendrik Ehlers

If you're still having trouble with 1Password, we'd love to help you out here, but we will need to know a few more details about the situation - such as if one of your devices has your full and complete database.

If you'd prefer to communicate via email, I'd like to ask you to create some Diagnostics Reports, one from each of your devices.

    —Mac—
    https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#mac4

    —iOS—
    https://guides.agilebits.com/kb/1password4/en/topic/diagnostics-report#ios4

Then attach the entire file to an email to us: support+forum@agilebits.com

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, but please do include a link to this thread in your email, along with your forum handle so that we can "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

A short note here once you've sent the Report in will help us to keep an eye out for it. :)

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks in advance!
