I have purchased the full version for IOS. But I can't sync with mac. Do I need the license for mac as well, in order to sync iphone/ipad with mac?

    Yes, 1P for iOS and 1P for Mac are separate products. Do note that if you want to use iCloud to sync you must buy 1P for Mac from the Mac App Store. The version from the AgileBits store does not support iCloud sync because of changes made by Apple when OS X Yosemite and iOS 8 were released. Both versions support Dropbox and local wifi sync.

    @Stephen_C's information is correct, although I'm not sure if you've already downloaded a copy of 1Password for Mac from our website? If so, and you didn't purchase a license for the Mac version, you can use it as a free trial version that is fully functional for 30 days. Once you purchase a license, you can simply activate 1Password with a license key.

    If you haven't installed 1Password for Mac, you'll need to do that in order to sync your 1Password data between your iOS devices and your Mac. 1Password 5 for Mac is available from either our web store, or the Mac App Store. As Stephen mentioned, the iCloud sync option is only in the Mac App Store version, but both versions can use Dropbox or Wi-Fi sync.
