1P for Mac is a separate purchase from 1P for iOS. I'm not sure if I have understood your question fully: is that what you were asking?

Yes Stephen. So even if I bought 1Password for 12 plus additions I can not view and sign into my Online Bank Accounts unless I buy the 1P for IOS? Seems like a lot of money for one individual!

Stephen I meant to say $12 plus recently $5 to upgrade to V5

I am still confused, sorry. What was it you bought for $12 originally? That sounds more like 1P for iOS to me, than 1P for Mac. But then you say:
I can not view and sign into my Online Bank Accounts unless I buy the 1P for IOS
Sorry, but can you explain a little more please?

I am sorry Stephen. Let me go back, please ignore my previous comments.
Okay..... two years ago I bought 1Password for my iPhone and it just sat there unused. Today I paid $5 to get additional features for my version 5. I have it working like a charm on iPhone 6 and iPad Air but there are certain websites, like my OnLine Banking that it is easier for me to view and work on them when I open A d view them on the larger screen of my MacPro.
So I want to be able to open my already owned and paid for 1Password V5 on my MacPro and I find it difficult to swallow another fee just to view my App and open websites on my larger screen. I fail to see logic on all this. Please Strphen I would really appreciate your ferdback!

Thanks for all of that. It is (I think!) much clearer to me now: sorry that I didn't understand it before.
We started all of this with my comment that:
1P for Mac is a separate purchase from 1P for iOS.
So there is no way you can have 1P for Mac free just because you bought 1P for iOS. :) To be quite clear, when you say:
So I want to be able to open my already owned and paid for 1Password V5 on my MacPro
the "already owned and paid for 1Password V5" to which you refer is, I assume 1P5 for iOS. Is that right? If so, I'm afraid you do need to buy 1P for Mac if you want to use it.
Now, having got all that out of the way.... I use both 1P for iOS and 1P for Mac and I would not be without either. Yes, 1P for Mac is not cheap but it's really worth having for the versatility and ease of use, compared to 1P for iOS. There are some things you can only do using the Mac version (for example, manually saving a login to update it so that it actually works even after the login page has been changed on the original website).
There is one other thing I ought to mention...just in case you decide to buy 1P for Mac after all this. You must buy the Mac App Store version if you want to use iCloud to sync your Mac with your iPhone. The AgileBits Store version does not support iCloud sync. Both versions support Dropbox and local wifi sync.
I hope that makes everything quite clear. If I have failed (again!) just post back.
