1pw5 gives beachball hang at startup for 10+ seconds to a minute

It just started doing this.... Im not sure why as I have been using 1password for years. My sync method has not changed, it uses iCloud.

This is repeatable, I quit 1password, then start it and get a basic 1password window and a beachball, then it wakes up. The last sync time stays at a fixed point, so its not trying to sync each time I start it.

Also being locked or not locked when I quit makes no difference when I launch it anew... beach ball for 10+ seconds.

    I would be inclined to re-install and see if that fixes the problem. If you want to try that please do this:

    1. delete the app by dragging it to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you still need);
    2. empty the trash and re-boot;
    3. re-download and re-install.

    If that does not fix the issue please post again.

    I suspect what happened is I changed some of my contact info in my apple ID and the mac was all like "whats your iMessage account?" "whats your password for FaceTime?" "Who the *@&#$^ are you???" so there must have been a great invalidation of credentials involving my apple ID. Today it is working fine. Ill follow up if it degrades.

    Odd that just changing some irrelevant fields in my contact info would have done that but ok.
