1password failure?
Within hours of setting up 1password to a number of accounts and successfully signing into those accounts through 1password I can no longer sign in using 1password. Every account now says my "username/password is incorrect" and I must re-enter my info, but when I do my accounts say my info is incorrect. What have I done wrong?

Hi @DavidMcCanse, what is the issue that appears or is it just that websites don't recognise your user login?
Have you tried entering these logins into the sites manually to ensure they are correct? If they are correct and it is an issue on 1Password's part can you please try saving the logins like this and reporting back the sites you're having issues with.
Cheers!

In addition to @Nathaniel's suggestion—which is exactly the solution for problems like this—if you still have problems please tell us, when you post back, your 1P version number, your OS X version number, the browser you are using and the 1P extension version number in the browser.
Edit: do include as well the information @Nathaniel mentioned.

1st., Stephen, I have 1Password5 and OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. I do not know how to find the 1P extension version number.
Nathaniel, I resigned into Amex and saved the login as you suggested manually and I can open Amex but when I "reveal" the password, it is simply the low security password I typed in. If I use 1P and do that to all of my sites I'm where I originally was but now don't have to remember the passwords. If I open the 1P mini window, hover over the Logins bar, then hover over the Amex a window appears that shows the Amex info. It shows my original password and shows a yellow security bar half way. If I click on edit then on the circle symbol the password will then change to one 1P chooses and the security bar will change to green and extend almost all the way across. I can then click save. That is what I did yesterday and afterwards the site would open. A few hours the site...actually none of my sites...would open. I got the Amex (Chase...Merrill...etc) message that my password is incorrect.0 -
Dang...the last part of my second post should read "A few hours later the Amex site..."

Hi @DavidMcCanse,
I think I understand what's happening, from this part of your description:

If I click on edit then on the circle symbol the password will then change to one 1P chooses and the security bar will change to green and extend almost all the way across. I can then click save.
By doing that, you're making a change to information stored in 1Password. That only changes the information stored in 1Password, and does not change your information on that website. In other words, the website has no idea that you changed something in 1Password. The website still has your old password.
If you want to change your password for a website account, you'll need to change it on the website, and also make that same change in 1Password. To do that, please make sure you follow the steps here: Changing a saved password
I hope that helps clear up the confusion! If you have any questions about that, please let us know.

I thank everyone. I think I've finally figured most of it out. The only problem I am now having is with sites that open first with a request for user id and then take you to another page to ask for the password. I can't get that to work. Any ideas on that?

I downloaded 5.02 from agile bits, and cannot sync in iCloud. I will be able to if I download 5.02 from the Apple Store. Do you get anything besides iCloud sync for the $49.99 version at the Apple Store?

If I purchase and download the Apple Store version will I have to redo all of the password setup I have done to date?

Take a look at this knowledge base article on creating multi-page logins and see if that helps.

That is the key material difference between the Mac App Store version (which can use iCloud sync) and the AgileBits store version (which can't). See this knowledge base article for some other less significant differences between the versions.
If I purchase and download the Apple Store version will I have to redo all of the password setup I have done to date?
Not if you follow the correct procedure. Have a look at this knowledge base article on how to migrate to the Mac App Store version.
