Whenever I launch Safari I am getting this message. The "details" button leads to an error web page. The Check for update isn't there. (Running 5.0.2 MAS) Looking in Safaris extensions I see 1P 4.2.5 and Click to flash ... nothing else ...

How do I get rid of this?

Thank you and best regards,

Sebastian

  • Hi @BastiOSX,

It sounds like you may have some leftovers from 1Password 3 on your Mac.

Could you please give this a try:

    • Open Finder and under the Go menu select: Go to Folder…

    • Enter this text and click Go: ~/Library/LaunchAgents

    • From the Finder window that opens, delete this file: ws.agile.1PasswordAgent.plist

    • Select Go > Go to Folder… again and enter: ~/Library/Application Support/1Password

    • From the Finder window, delete this folder: Agent

    • Empty Trash and restart your Mac.

Please let me know whether or not that fixes the issue.
