Can you set up a secondary action?

I am a USAA member, and on their website I first have to enter my username and pw, and THEN it takes me to the next page where I have to enter my pin.

Any way for 1P to automate this?

Have a look at this knowledge base article about setting up multi-page logins and see if it helps.

No, I followed the directions precisely and tried many times, and it doesn't work at all.

Are you sure the second login entry for the second page has the correct URL? Just checking. I have a USAA account too, but I haven't ever worried about having to remember or enter the PIN manually. I need to know it when I call them on the phone anyway. But I'll check to see what happens when I try to save a second page login tomorrow and report back with my experience.

  • Hi @Patton77,

While hawkmoth will try to reproduce this, can you tell us which browser you're using and what version of 1Password extension is installed in that browser? Also, which version of 1Password and OS X you're using.

    Thanks!

I was able to create a second page that successfully submits my PIN and finishes the login. I did this by submitting my username and password on the first page, then filling in my PIN. Before I submitted the PIN, I used the Save login manually option in the menu under the gear icon to save another login, which I named USAA PIN before saving it.

Then starting fresh, I went to the USAA page and logged in there as usual with CMD + \ . Mini then showed two options, the USAA that I had been using before, plus the USSA PIN option I had just created. Once on the PIN page, I pressed CMD + \ again and this time selected the USAA PIN option. It submitted my PIN successfully and finished the login.

Shorter version: I was able to create the two records need to handle the two page login.

Hi @Patton77‌ I hope you find hawkmoth's post useful. I realise it isn't as tidy as a single Login item but depending on the design of a particular page we sometimes struggle to make it as neat as we'd like. Let us know how you get along.
