Downloading in apps but wont load on computer desktop

I purchaed the 1Password program last night off the Apple app store site. IT downloads, but only to my apps. I can't opent it on my MacBook Pro to do synching. Can you help? I'm running the latest version of OX S and I'm upgrading from a 3.6.2.2 version of 1Password.

    @coffmanjmc‌ I have moved your post from the 1P for iOS forum to the 1P for Mac forum because it seems to relate to 1P for Mac and not 1P for iOS, so you'll get more help here.
