Another Trial Expired in 1Password v5

I am also getting a 'Trial Expired' message when running 1Password 5. I originally purchased v3 (direct from the Agile Web Store) and then upgraded to v4 in May 2014. I have the email confirming receipt which contained a . Following an email in October that v5 was a free upgrade from v4, I again upgraded. However, I now get the 'Trial Expired' message. I have read the other messages on this topic, but when I request the license information via email, only my original purchase of v3 is listed. Has my paid upgrade to v4 been 'lost'?

What do I need to do to continue running v5 as I don't believe that I should have to pay for an upgrade again?

I think something crucial is missing at the end of that sentence. What is it? Do you have a licence file in that confirmation email?

Apologies. The email contained a my previous v3 license number and a link to automatically add license for v4.

So 1P4 was licensed on your machine. Did you save the licence file in 1P under Software Licenses by any chance? If so, you can simply re-apply it to 1P5. The same licence file works for both 1P4 and 1P5. Alternatively you should be able to use the link in the email (if you still have it) to access the licence again, which will work in 1P5.
If for any reason neither of those works please post again and there's another solution you can try, but which won't be so quick.
