How secure is sharing a login via email?

As per the title. Im guessing its not secure as the recipient doesn't need a password to add it to their app.

    You're correct - although the login information is obscured in the email, it's not secure because it doesn't require the recipient to enter a password to add that item. They simply need the link from the email, and 1Password must be installed.
