Fill Login in Browser *consistently* not working
I have the main app open and when trying to use the Fill Login in Browser context menu item, or from the menu Item>Fill Login in Browser, the page loads successfully, but DOES NOT fill the credentials in. Either I don't understand the functionality of this command or it's broken. I'm running 1Password 5.0.2 on Yosemite 10.10.1 in Chrome Version 40.0.2214.45 beta (64-bit) with 1Password Extension 4.2.5.90.
When the page is opened using the command from the app, hitting the extension button in Chrome DOES NOT populate the credential form. Rather, I need to refresh the page THEN hit the extension button in Chrome to populate the credential form.
Please advise.
Thanks,
-Chris

Hi @Ratman
I'm not suggesting you change your default browser but for the purposes of troubleshooting do you use any other browsers on your machine and do they also exhibit the same problem? I know we often have unrelated issues keeping the extension running properly in Chrome betas, is the issue present in the latest stable as well and do you need to be running the beta if the stable does work?
Please let us know if you do test either another browser or the latest stable Chrome and if that makes any difference on your system. It will allow us to narrow down what the issue may be.

Fair request. I tried with Safari as default and it appears to work as expected. Good news. It did seem to pause for a second before filling. Perhaps that by design. I'll get out of the beta channel and report back on the Chrome front.

And I tried it with Chrome Mac Version 39.0.2171.95 (64-bit) and it DOES seem to be working already. Thanks for the tip to get out of the chrome beta channel. There nothing to see here. Thx.

Hi @Ratman
Well I hope returning to the stable is an acceptable solution in this instance. Sorry about the break in compatibility with the beta.
