Split Log-In for some web sites
There are some web sites that split the log in process by asking for the User Name first and then submitting it. Then they ask for the password. Once both are submitted access is granted. Although I’m sure the intent is to make their own site more secure they, in fact, are also defeating 1PW. One example of this is the log in for Capital One Bank. 1PW can not be used with this site. I have come across a few other web sites like this. For me, I just have to memorize my log in credentials for these few.
Has 1 PW been aware of this type of “split web site log in” that keeps 1 PW from doing its job?
