I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble setting up Dropbox sync!
The 404 error from Dropbox indicates a problem communicating with their servers. In most cases, it is temporary and should start working again soon. If not, can you please check the Dropbox app on your iPhone to see if has any trouble? And does the Dropbox.com website work in mobile Safari?
