Apple App vs. agilebits app

All my purchases and upgrades of 1Password have all been through agilebits(apparently unfortunately for me).
I wish to use syncing with iCloud. Is my only option to purchase 1Password, again, this time through the Apple store to enable me to do this or is there another work around?
