1Pass 5 app lost icloud sync option
First suprise was that after I was informed I could upgrade to 1Pass 5 I was suddenly locked out a month or two later with a notice my trial had expired. I decided to ignore the snub and use the new App Store version to iCloud sync. Bought the app and it istalled fine and began using iCloud option to sync. Today I noticed iCloud syncing option was missing and so my iOS devices were not synced. iCloud shows agiblebits data is stored but I have no option to use it. I disabled Dropobox as it had auto defaulted back to this sync option. How to fix?

Hi @makux
So the bad news is I wish you'd come to us in the forums when you first received the "Trial Expired" message, we could have helped you resolve that quickly and cleanly.
After you purchased 1Password (MAS) did you remove the old Web Store version from your machine? There is a bug in Yosemite where it gets confused and launches the wrong version. So if you've kept 1Password (Web Store) around it might be interfering.
Easiest thing to do is open 1Password as you normally do and go to 1Password > About 1Password. Under the version number what does it say, does it say Mac App Store or Agile Web Store?
Let us know and we can work this out

Sometimes the cost of buying something outweighs the time/cost of a forum...unfortunately. Did not find a quick solution and needed access to 1Pass to finish my work.
I have now deleted the old 1Pass 5 version and retained the 1Pass 5 App Store version. I shut down and restarted 1Pass but still have no iCloud sync access. My license says Mac App Store. Thanks.0 -
Hi @makux,
It looks like you might be using the AgileBits web store version, which does not support iCloud sync. The Mac App Store version doesn't show the license screen that you posted above.
Could you please try following this guide and see if it helps:
Migrating to the Mac App Store version

So I think that does the fix for me. If you look at the screen shot here you will see that it showed 1Pass 5 (web version) hadn't been opened since Oct 30 so when I deleted one, that is the one I chose, which happened to be the wrong one. (This happened when I was trouble-shooting on my own.) Interesting that it doesn't show that it was being opened when it was. Anyways, think I'm up and running now. Appreciate the help!

Hi @makux
That's great to hear that you're up and running again and you're quite right, everybody's time/cost tolerance is different (and can be dependent on the situation at hand). Hopefully everything will run smoothly now but if not we are here and will do our best to assist. As this particular issue seems resolved I'm going to close this thread but do please post again if you have any questions or issues.
