Syncing
I see a lot of posts about sync problems. I have used 1 Password for a couple of years now and never had any problems, until lately. I used to use iCloud and everything worked great. I now am running Mac OS X 10.10.1 on my home computer as well as my laptop. I am also running 1 Password on my iPhone on IOS 8.1.2. What is the recommended method for syncing these devices in an automated way? iCloud drive, DropBox, WiFi?

If you purchased your copy of 1Password for Mac directly from AgileBits, that version no longer supports iCloud for syncing because Apple decided with the release of Yosemite to confine that only to purchases from the Mac App Store. Assuming that your installation of OS x 10.10 means that you are using 1Password 5, that might be the cause. I turned to Dropbox and have had no problems.

Thank you for the reply. Is the DropBox method automatic or is it something that I have to manually do from time to time? If I want to us iCloud syncing does that mean I have to re-purchase 1Password from the Apple Store?

@tommyjt I've moved your posts to the 1P for Mac forum where you'll get more help.
In reply to your questions:
- Dropbox should sycn your devices automatically. There have been a few hiccups for some people but it's hoped those will be ironed out in new versions of 1P for Mac and 1P for iOS due to be released fairly soon.
- Yes, you must have the Mac App Store version of 1P5 if you want to use iCloud to sync 1P data between your Mac and your phone (which needs to be running 1P5 for iOS). If you bought 1P5 from the AgileBits store within the past 30 days you'd be able to get a refund to enable you to buy the Mac App Store version.
