I have 1password and wish to do a wifi sync, but I only am presented in preferences with 3 options: Cloud, Dropbox or Folder. There is no window below that asks me if I wish to do a wifi sync. What should I do?

What version of 1P are you using?

    Hi @jandi69‌

Wi-Fi Sync is different between 1Password 4 and 1Password 5. In 1Password 5 you enable Wi-Fi Sync in the same location as you would iCloud or Dropbox (see below).

If you're definitely running 1Password 5 and not seeing the Wi-Fi Sync option I'd suspect you're in a secondary vault and just now Wi-Fi Sync only works on the primary vault.

In 1Password 4 you need to use the menu option Window > Wi-Fi Sync which will bring up the Wi-Fi Sync window (see below).

If none of that helps do please let us know.

Hi and thanks for your reply. I have 1Passport 5 and I am not presented with the option of wifi sync only dropbox, icloud or folder. When I go into preferences the only thing that I see is "sync primary vault with NONE or ICLOUD or DROPBOX or FOLDER. Nothing else. I have three MacBooks and 2 Ipads and 2 iPhones linked together that are not syncing. Thanks for any help

    Hi @jandi69‌

I realise I'm repeating myself here but I'm only doing so because I've never heard of anything like this so far.

In the current release versions of 1Password 4/5 the Sync tab differs depending on what vault was active when you opened up 1Password's preferences. I can see iCloud as an option in my secondary vault but clicking on it brings up the information box titled Primary vault required

Say you use the keyboard shortcut ⌘1 (switches you to your primary vault), then the keyboard shortcut ⌘, (which opens up 1Password's preferences) and then switch to the Sync tab. You're saying you don't have the option as shown above?

As way of example here is my trying to to enable iCloud sync on a secondary vault

and here is my trying to enable iCloud sync on a primary vault

If you can show us an image of the primary vault's iCloud message but with no Wi-Fi Sync option we'll request a Diagnostic Report next as that is very odd indeed. Do please let us know as I've not heard of anything like that before.
