Can't find license

I had a purchased copy of 1Password4 on Mavericks and when I upgraded to Yosemite, suddenly I find I am running a trial copy of 1Password5. I thought I had a file that contained the license but I cannot find it. Am I not supposed to be using 1Password 5 as a licensed user?

Does Agilebits monitor these posts? If so, please look me up. I am Robert Goldstein, [email deleted], from Cupertino, CA, a long-term user of 1Password.

Is there no way anymore to get immediate help from Agilebits support??

    Yes, you've found it, even in the holiday season. :)

    Have you read the sticky at the top of the forum covering the "trial expired" problem? It will help us to help you if you can tell us where you fit in the scenarios it describes. Someone will then be able to give more help.

    Thanks for your help. I got an email containing a family license number for 1Password 3 for MAC. I have tried the email addresses I have used in the past, and only one was recognized. I have another, which is no longer valid, on Gmail. But of course any license info sent there will not get to me. I have been using 1Password 4 for a long time!

    I see nowhere to paste in the license number I received when I go to License in the 1Password 5 menu. It is wanting me to identify a saved file.

    I really appreciate your working on a weekend and apologize for any impatient tone in my posting.

    If you're having problems figuring out what email address you may have used for your purchase then I recommend emailing us at support+licenses@agilebits.com. Please supply as much information as possible to best locate your licence(s). That would include:

    • Your full name as you would have used it at the time of purchase
    • Any email address you might have used.
    • Your physical address at the time of purchase.

    Once we can locate your licences we can work on removing the "Trial Expired" message.
