Recovering Password from Shared Vault

I have a Primary vault, and then a secondary vault I share with my family. I never open the shared vault with the Password, as I just always use my primary password. Thus, I don't remember it, but need it to install it on another computer. Is there any way to recover/change this password if I can access it through my Primary Vault? If not, is there a way to export the items and start up a new vault?

    I don't use more than one vault but I'm guessing you could:

    1. create a new secondary vault on your machine;
    2. move the existing items from the old secondary vault to the new one;
    3. save the password for the new secondary vault in your 1P primary vault :wink:;
    4. share the new secondary vault;
    5. delete the old secondary vault.

    Hi @Lenny3200‌

    @Stephen_C is spot on with his answer. There is no way to recover a Master Password and I've personally done this myself (both in the forgetting of the password and the steps to recover from it). My solution was to then add my secondary vault Master Password as a Password item to my primary vault as I knew it would happen again (in fact I haven't a clue what the password is as I think about it).

    If you have any troubles following the steps outlined above in Stephen_C's post let us know.
