Hi,

I have version 5.0.2 installed and the browser extensions stopped working in FireFox, Safari and Chrome.
How can I get this working again?

Can you please confirm that ⌥⌘\ still launches 1P mini?

If so, do you use Sophos anti-virus?

Let's have the answers to those questions first and then we can continue troubleshooting.

    Hi Stephen,

Yes 1P mini is still launched. I use Intego Virusbarrier.

    Cheers,

As a pure hunch, are you able to add 127.0.0.1 to something in Intego akin to step 4 of the Sophos link in my previous post? See also this knowledge base article.

Hi @jawes‌ let us know if Stephen_C's suggestion helped at all. The browser extension communicates with 1Password mini by opening a port, much like how your browser works every time you communicate with a server or how Skype works. The difference is the communication is only ever on your Mac, it never goes anywhere (hence using the loopback address 127.0.0.1). If it's blocked though the extension can't communicate with 1Password mini.

    Hi Stephen,

Today I tried it again and the issue has disappeared.
I see no option to add 127.0.0.1

    Thanks for the support!

HI @jawes‌ Let us know if the problem reappears and I'll leave this thread open just in case. Glad to hear it's working and fingers crossed it stays that way
