New Christmas tradition for me as a many year 1PW user

kind of like the yearly battery change for your smoke detector… I made it through Christmas holiday - whole family yada yada - then they all left! Off to vacations afar! I'm alone (woohoo - no I love them all really) so with some alone time on my hands I thought I would start a new Christmas tradition for myself…

I fired up 1PW, and changed all my passwords. I started with 350+. And going through them all while changing the ones I use continuously - I found over 100 that I just could trash. Looking at the dates on them, not using them in years, not remembering what they are - "Move to Trash" for me. For some reason I feel securely satisfied. :) Some I trashed because the site changed their login requirements and didn't accept mine any longer - many wanted Facebook - yeah right, I don't use Facebook. If you're concerned of your security and privacy why would any one use Facebook? That made it easy for me to trash them. And it was a cake walk in 1PW. I also combined a mess of Secure Notes.

As a user of 1PW from v3 to current - congrats to the team of 1PW - I'm on Yosemite beta 10.10.2 on my two main computers, my iPhone 6 and iPad mini on iOS 8 - all synced via iCloud - not one hiccup. I started on iMac, after hours having to do something else continued on iPad, then over to MBP - not a beat missed. Every change synced to the other device. I also saved all the changes to Yosemite Keychain too while changing. 1PW and Keychain all working well together too.

How often to others change their passwords? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all

    Thanks so much for taking the time to write in! I completely understand your thoughts about Christmas - family is completely wonderful ... but a little bit of peace and quiet after a rousing good time is priceless.

    I've been doing my semi-annual run-through of 1Password's security audit whenever I change my clocks in spring and fall, but doing an extra pass around the holidays sounds like a great idea - start the new year with a clean vault!
