Can't renew license

Hi - my V5 of 1Password for Mac is telling me my trial has expired.

I entered my email address so the site could re-send me my license key file - it sent me the license key, but only as a text in an email.

When I go to 1Password -> License there is no ability to paste this in i.e. up comes the open file dialog box - I can't find this file, and it wasn't attached in the email.

Help!

    Two questions:

    1. Did you definitely purchase 1P4 or 1P5? The upgrade from 1P3 was not free. 1P3 used a licence key. 1P4 and 1P5 use a licence file.
    2. Do you by any chance use gmail? Gmail strips out the licence file in some way so that it's not usable.

    The first point sounds a more likely source of the problem to me, although it's also possible the AgileBits server gets confused and sends you your old 1P3 licence code instead of the 1P4/1P5 licence file.

    Doesn't that email include a link you can click to automatically apply the license file?
