Dropbox Sync not working to iPhone
I use Version 5.1.2 on my iPhone 5s and Version 4.1.0.530 for Windows primarily. I also use a Mac at home, but I don't have those details at the moment.
I have my iPhone set to sync with Dropbox, however, it appears the sync is not working properly. I made a change to my Kayak entry through Windows and it is not updating on my iPhone. I disabled the Dropbox sync twice now, but it still is not syncing.

Hi @yycheadhunter, welcome to the forums! I'm sorry Dropbox sync is giving you a bit of trouble.
I disabled the Dropbox sync twice now, but it still is not syncing.
Can I assume you mean you disabled and then re-enabled Dropbox sync? As long as Dropbox sync is set up in 1Password on both Windows and iOS, the problem could be that they are syncing to different keychain files in Dropbox. Please follow these steps to check that:
On Windows:
- Open 1Password and go to Preferences
- Click the General tab
- Check the file path for your 1Password Vault
On your iPhone:
- Open 1Password and go to Settings > Sync > Sync Service
- Check the file path for your vault (underneath Current Sync Method / Dropbox)
If the problem is that one is syncing with a different vault in Dropbox than the other, you'll need to disable the sync, then set it up again and choose the correct vault. Please let us know how that goes, thanks!

Hello Drew, thanks for the reply. Indeed, I disabled and then re-enabled the Dropbox sync both times.
I have checked on both Windows and iPhone that they are going to the same keychain files.

Thanks @yycheadhunter. Ok, so let's try a quick test in order to figure out where the problem is happening:
- On Windows, add a new Secure Note to 1Password and name it
Test from Windows
- On your iPhone, add a new Secure Note to 1Password and name it
Test from iPhone
- Check 1PasswordAnywhere from a web browser on your Windows PC: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows/4/en/topic/using-1passwordanywhere
In 1PasswordAnywhere, which of the two new Secure Notes do you see? The one that is missing should tell us if the problem is on Windows or on iOS.

I see Test from iPhone

Hi @yycheadhunter,
Thanks for doing that. If 1PasswordAnywhere only shows the Secure Note you created on your iPhone, something seems to be wrong with Dropbox sync on Windows.
On your Windows PC, please navigate to your Dropbox folder, and copy a file from your computer to that folder. It can be a small text file, or photo, or whatever you'd like. After copying a file to your Dropbox folder, check your dropbox.com account from a web browser again. Does the new file show up there?

I moved a PDF and a JPG file and neither showed up on the web browser account.

Hi @yycheadhunter,
Ok, it sounds like the Dropbox software isn't working correctly on your Windows PC in general. You might want to try re-downloading/reinstalling the Dropbox software for Windows to see if that helps. You can go to the dropbox.com site and find a download link, or you can try the following link which I believe should start downloading the correct Windows version: https://www.dropbox.com/downloading?os=win
Let us know how it goes, thanks!

Thanks for the hints. I was having similar issues with synching a new iPhone 6+, my IPad, laptop and a Windows PC. The test you suggested by going out to 1Password Anywhere really helped me narrow down my problem. I also had some duplicate vault issues on my Apple products. I ended up deleting and reinstalling the 1Passwrord App and re-synching it to a new Dropbox agilekeychain. All data is in synch and works like a charm. Order is restored to the universe :-)

@emaninca glad to hear it is working again.

I re-installed Dropbox on my PC and it appears that has corrected the issue. Thank you!
