How do I change the logins without altering the passwords?

    @83surfy‌

    Why not simply create two separate logins, one for Joey and one for Sally?

    @83surfy‌ if you're using 1P4 or 1P5 right click on the login item in the main list and choose Duplicate. That will create a copy of the login which you can easily amend. Is that what you want to achieve?

    Is "right click" the same as "control click" on a Mac?

    I find it easier (personally) to go to OS X System Preferences > Trackpad > Point and Click and check Secondary Click, which allows you just to tap the trackpad with two fingers for the equivalent of a right click. Sorry to have referred to "right click" in my original post: too many years on PCs (from which I've thankfully now escaped!).

    @Stephen_C, I say right click all the time too and even on Macs that's not wrong if you're using a Magic Mouse :wink:

    @83surfy‌ Did you manage to get it all working?

    Not completely sure, but I think Apple also refers to right clicks these days. They long ago relented from insisting on one button mouses (mice?). I also have turned on the two finger tap for my track pad, but the Magic Mouse automatically knows about them.

  • In code we refer to two-finger-tap or control-clicks as Right Mouse events. They're all the same. :smile:
