Dropbox sync error
Device: iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2; OS 10.10.2
1Password Version 5.1.2 (501204)
Dropbox Version 3.0.3
Issue:
- 1Password "last sync" on ios is different than mac.
- Dropbox "last modified" date is different than both of the "last sync" dates.
Details:
- 1Password has not synced for 3 weeks on my iPhone.
- Tapping "sync now" in 1password settings on the iPhone fails to change that or even show an error or fail message.
- A "failed to sync folder" alert after re-enabling sync (the same dropbox account used throughout.)
- 1Password for mac "last sync" was a few minutes ago.
- The"get info" panel in Finder shows the "*.agilekeychain" was last modified over a month ago.
- No issue with dropbox for ios or mac other than with the 1password file (and auto syncing photos on ios).
Question
What information indicates an issue with sync, and how can I resolve and confirm successful sync on both ends?

Hi @lambros58, welcome to the forums! Sorry to hear you're having some trouble with Dropbox sync.
Don't worry too much about the modified dates on your AgileKeychain. That's actually a package file and the modified date doesn't reflect changes made to the contents inside the package.
To solve the problem with Dropbox sync, please try these steps:
First, make sure you have all your 1Password data synced/backed up somewhere other than your iPhone. If your 1Password data is up to date on your Mac and/or in Dropbox, that's fine. You can also save a backup to your Mac by following these steps.
Next, open 1Password on your iPhone and go to Settings.
- Scroll down and go to Advanced.
- Scroll down and tap Erase Data and Settings, then confirm you want to do that.
- When you see the message confirming the data is deleted, tap Quit.
Restart your iPhone (hold down the power button for a few seconds and "slide to power off", then turn it back on again).
Reopen 1Password and choose Sync existing vault.
- Choose Sync with Dropbox and follow any additional steps to complete the setup.
Once the setup and sync are complete, check to make sure your data is there. Let us know how it all goes, and if it's still a problem, we'll take it from there. Thanks!
