I am unable to login to 1Password on my iPad despite typing in the correct master password (when I type in the same master password on my iPhone, I get in just fine). Caps are not on. Please help.

Have you recently changed your master password? If so, can you use the old one to access 1Password on the iPad? Apparently sometimes password changes don't sync to other devices, which is why I ask.

If that applies to you, once you open 1Password with the old master password, go to the Sync option and ask it to sync now. Does that work to get you in with the new password?

Have you recently changed your master password and do you sync your 1P data between a Mac and your iOS devices? If so, try logging in to 1P on the iPad with the old master password and see if that works.

I am so frustrated! I am having the same issue using iCloud sync to setup my brand new iPad Air 2 for the first time. 1Password will not accept ANY master password I have ever used. This should not be this frustrating! I have been using 1Password forever on my iPads, iPads and Macs.

I tried turning off iCloud, changed the MasterPassword on my Mac, made sure it was synched, turned iCloud back on. It fails miserably. I am so very upset. Please help!!!

I have tried using Dropbox. I moved my iMac sync location to Dropbox through 1Password preferences and waited until everything synced to Dropbox. I then selected DropBox, gave it permission with DropBox. It failed. After restarting, it finally allowed Dropbox to sync. I'm not very happy.

Sorry for your troubles @DrJW !

I assume you are using iCloud Drive on all of your devices - right? I'd suggest the following:

    • make sure that you have all of your 1Password data on your Mac
    • disable iCloud sync and check the checkbox 'Delete data from iCloud'
    • after a couple of minutes re-enable iCloud sync
    • give it a bit of time to propagate
    • now setup your new iPad Air 2 choosing iCloud as a sync method

Regarding your Dropbox failure: Did you see any error message pop up? What did it say?
