Login just wrong

So, trying to start 1password on an iPad 3, imagine the screen in portrait mode. Now rotate the iPad. The keyboard turns, but I can no longer 'press' the p,l,k, the return key or anything around there. Rotating back to upright and now those keys are no longer visible. The keyboard is off set to the right and half way up the screen. Can't sign in. Anyone else see this, or is it just me?

This is an iOS 8 bug. See this thread, which also refers to the only solution known at the moment (force quitting and re-starting 1P).
