Yes: have a look at MrC's Convert to 1Password Utility, referred to in this thread. @MrC is the forum's import expert, is here frequently and is very helpful.

The converter will import local OS X keychain data. The instructions in the README for the converter will explain how this is done. Although the README is lengthy and comprehensive, and might seem frightening, the process is really quite simple.

If the data is only in iCloud, it needs to be copied to a local keychain for the converter to have access. I can provide instructions if @garyleecn is interested.

  • Thanks @MrC, you're awesome.

I am trying to use the conversion process. However, it appears that there is no way to export items from the Mac keychain. No matter what I select, the "export items" option stays dimmed. The Mac help says only that if the option is dimmed one or more of the selected items cannot be exported, but doesn't say why. I can't find a single item in my keychain that is exportable. Garyleecn, you got it working - how did you export the keychain logins?

    Hi @Slowpoke,

    Please see this thread.

The export instructions for the OS X Keychain are referenced by item 3 Export Your Data, and described later, in the README file (snippet below). But please follow all the instructions.

    ● Keychain

Copy the command below and paste it into the Terminal app:

    security dump-keychain -d login.keychain > ~/Desktop/pm_export.txt

    and press Enter.

OS X will prompt you to allow the action - press Allow. You will have to do this repeatedly until all the entries have been exported. If you have many entries, a Click Allow AppleScript will press Allow automatically. To see how many entries you have, open the Keychain Access application under Applications > Utilties. Select the login item under Keychains, and All Items under Categories.

Glad to hear you're having success with @MrC converter, the work is quite impressive from what I've seen.
